Manarella (in foster)

My name is Marilla, this is the name my foster Grandma and mom use. They are from a small town in NY called Marilla. The shelter staff originally named me Manarella. I'm a SENIOR. I sleep most of the day. However, I get up early in the morning and go to bed at around 11pm. I get along with four of the five small dogs I live with. I like to herd the other animals when walking through the house. Sometimes, I gallop through the house when I'm excited. I'm a little unsure of cats. There are two cats in the house where I live. I try to stay out of their way. When in the mood, I can catch a ball or small toy. On special occasions, I sometimes will throw it back. However, I don't do this often and really have to be in the right mood. I like to take VERY VERY short walks. I prefer early morning or evening. If it is too hot, I pant and have a really hard time with the heat. I can't really do more than two stairs. Things have changed for me as I have gotten older. I'm sweet and have been known to give kisses. I don't like crates. It makes me feel very anxious. There really is no need to put me in a crate since I'm NOT destructive. I have some medical needs, my foster mom can share the details. I would love to find a home where I'm the number one dog.
