Mandy's Ideal Home: One or two adults; Mandy would love to share a home with a playful male dog (no cats, children, or female dogs); a fenced-in yard with plenty of toys and, in summer, a kiddie pool! Favorite Things: Walks that allow for plenty of sniffing and squirrel sighting; playtime with friendly male dogs. Mandy is a sleek black, beautiful, playful pup. Because of the extreme hardships she suffered in the days before she arrived at HumaneCNY, she can be wary of strangers. However, with a little bit of effort in the form of a walk or two and plenty of treats, she soon gives herself over wholeheartedly. It needs to be noted that Mandy will require several visits over the course of a couple weeks by potential adopters so that both she (and you) can develop a nice bond before she goes home with you. The recipients of her trust receive an abundance of love, kisses, and happy dances. She has a tried-and-true fan base of staff & volunteers here at HumaneCNY because she is such a lovebug as soon as she lets you in. Mandy loves to go for car rides, outings, and walks. We think she would be happiest in a home with a friendly, playful male dog that is medium to large size. This is a girl who loves to play!
