Mary Jane

Mary Jane is a small adult female who we believe has some Dachshund in her breeding. She came from a home where she was mistreated but despite her troubled past, she has a loving disposition. Since she's been at the shelter she has been nothing but sweet with the volunteers; in fact she loves to be held and cuddled. She will follow you around the shelter ready for a belly rub, scuffle behind the ears or preferably a snuggle up under your chin. She prefers dogs of her own size or smaller so if your home has another dog it should be a small one - but she'd probably prefer to be an only dog - more attention for her! We actually think she'd be great for an older, single woman. She has warmed up to several of our young volunteers so should be okay in a home with older, quiet children. Mary Jane needs a home that will give her the love and attention she deserves and has been desperately longing for. Mary Jane has been waiting a long time for a home to call her own and we hope she finds one soon. She is waiting for someone to shower with kisses, love, and affection!
