Matilda

Matilda is a 3 year old retired momma looking for a lavish lifestyle. Matilda is spunky and ready to go, but loves to stay close to her people. She has the sweetest smile when she is excited, (don't be intimidated). Matilda loves playing with toys and carrying them around to give out as gifts to her favorite people. Matilda hopes to find someone that loves her as much as she loves them (she hugs and gives kisses!) Matilda's foster parents reported that she is very intelligent and quickly became house trained as well as learned how to use the doggy door. Matilda is eager to please and treat motivated making it easy to train her. She quickly began responding to "come", as well as invites onto the couch and when asked to get off the couch. Matilda was relaxed and enjoyed sleeping or playing with her toys when she was left alone. Matilda does not have a history of living with dogs, but may do well with slow intros. Matilda does not have a history of living with cats, but may do well with slow intros. Matilda does not have a history with children but may do well with children that can handle her enthusiasm for life! If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.
