Matrix

UPDATED INFO: This cute guy was picked up as a stray and he is thought to be about 1 1/2 years old. Matrix was emaciated upon entry into our program at 58 pounds, but we successfully have been putting weight on him. He has now increased to the mid-60 pound range, but still has a long way to go since he is a large male and should top out at about 90 pounds. We previously had completed a health panel on him since we had difficulty getting him to eat, but the results came back completely normal. We also did a separate test on his pancreas due to his chronic diarrhea and we are waiting for the results. Importantly, this diarrhea is now under control so we believe this issue might have been attributed to the very severe kennel cough he had upon entering our program. Additionally, Matrix has lots of energy and will require a more experienced owner. While he has been nothing but sweet and wiggly with all the people he has met, he has a very high prey drive and cannot live with cats and can be overbearing toward other dogs. Due to these factors, he would be best as an only dog (but... it does depend on the other dog) with a fenced-in yard.
