My name is Mattie and the Denton Firefighters at Station 2 rescued me. I am a 2 year old possible Shih tzu and Wiredhaired Terrier mix and I weigh about 20 lbs. I love to play, especially with other dogs, but what I really like to do is cuddle and
be with people. I am not the least bit destructive or aggressive and I am crate trained too. Since I have a doggie dog I always take myself outside to go potty, but when I don't have a doggie door I will need to be taken outside often. I am an inside kind of dog because I'm really smart and will get bored when I'm left outside for long periods of time. I can squeeze
through the smallest of holes to see what is on the other side of a fence. Fortunately, because I'm so smart my foster parents feel that I'm easily
trained as long as it is consistent training. So far I've learned how to sit, to stay out of the bathroom and the kitchen and I understand the word "No" really well.
