Maui

Maui was rescued off of a 4 foot chain in a dirt yard. He had no shelter and got food and water only when someone remembered and felt like giving it to him. The chain was large and thick and had worn an open oozing wound in his neck... thank goodness that once we got him off of it, there was no infection and it has healed up better than we ever expected. He was longing for human contact, and considering his start (and even without it) he is a wonderful dog. Trusting and loyal, affectionate and loving, a true friend. Maui is a year old and weighs 40 pounds. He will make a great running buddy and will never tire of a "game" of fetch! He loves other dogs and is good natured with everyone.
