UPDATE: Puppy McElroy has been adopted and is living his wonderful new life with the Reed family in Austin.
BACKGROUND: Puppy McElroy is one of our five puppies born in rescue in March 2021. Momma came in VERY pregnant, and started delivering her babees at the clinic at closing time. In an effort to get her home from the clinic, we bundled her and the first babee up and started rushing home. No sooner than we hit the interstate, was Puppy # 2 born. Pulling over to check on the pup, Momma started delivering Puppy # 3. Back on the interstate, Puppy # 4 was born, and finally safe at home, Puppy # 5 was born!
