Millicent

Hi! My name is "Millicent" (but you can call me "Millie"). I was recently rescued from a shelter down south, right before I was going to be put to sleep. I guess there wasn't enough room for me, with all the new strays coming in to the shelter each day. My foster "mom" tells me I have beautiful blue eyes, and she thinks I'm really special. I love everybody--people, other dogs, and cats too! I am quiet and well mannered, but I don't know much yet (although I'm very smart and will learn quickly.) Right now I am just very happy that I am alive, and will have the chance to be adopted by a very special person. I would love to have a doggie playmate and a fenced yard, and I'd really prefer not to be a "latch key" dog. If you work just part time, or work at home, or are retired, I hope you contact my foster "mom" and request an adoption application for me.
