My Story

**Pupdate on Mork: Mork has been adopted. Mork is a 'special needs fellow. He needed a Pom savy home willing to work with his personality. He has been severely abused and does not trust easily but is coming along very well in his foster home. He is showing signs of being a happy boy. Mork and Mindy were left to be euthanized at a NC animal shelter. I had to take this video. Pictures just cannot tell you how neglected and abused this pair was. Matts of fur were hanging down, fleas and flea waste were all over them(they looked like they had moving coffee grounds in their fur!)Their teeth had so much tartar that it looked like they had one big tooth set in cement. Mindy has a lump on her chest and Mork walks with his head sideways. When Mork gets stressed he flops over like a fainting goat. Their nails were at least 3 inches long and their ears were filled with black gunk. Mindy had 4 puncture wounds on her back, as if a medium to large size dog bit her. I bathed, scrubbed, scissored, clipped and medicated them. Her foster Mom, Jade came from Honea Path,SC where she and her husband Alf have fostered these two. Day one of rescue video: Three weeks later video pupdate:
