Naomi-adopted

Naomi was supposed to be put down in a shelter but she got a GREAT foster home instead. Naomi was originally found as a stray with her daugher (Libby). We did not know if Naomi had ever been in a house before but she has adapted to the comforts of a home without any trouble at all! Naomi is a young dog, about 1-2 years.

Here is what her foster home has to say about her: "Naomi has met lots of different people while staying with me and has been very friendly with all of them old and young. She has been around cats occasionally and doesn't chase them in the house. She is marvelous with my little dog they play very well together. She will lay on her back or side and let Oreo jump on her and tug on her. Oreo can even take a bone or toy out of her mouth and she doesn't care."

"Naoimi is obedient and loves to please. She had her first experience in the off leash dog park just recently, and had a wonderful time! She loves got along with all the dogs in the park except one dog that ran right up to her and got in her face. She just told him no thanks. Naomi was a good listner and came immediately when called. Naomi is also wonderful on the leash. She may pull to start but responds well to gentle correction."

"To start Naomi was not crazy about car rides but .now as soon as the door opens she jumps in and is ready to go"

"Naomi is a very smart girl she learned very quickly where she is allowed to go in the house and that she is not to go on the furniture. She has also learned the commands sit, shake a paw, down and a few others. She absolutely loves being petted she just falls to the floor and rolls over to have her belly rubbed when she knows someone is going to pet her. Her favorite part of the day is at night when she gets brushed. If she sees me holding the brush she runs down to her bed and waits for me to start, she will fall asleep while I brush her. She loves any attention that she can get. Naomi will make a lucky someone a wonderful pet, she is very quiet and calm.
