UPDATE - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH - The Utah Hwy Patrol has confirmed sightings of Neo between Snowville, UT and Stone, ID., which is within five miles of the accident scene. Neo may be very afraid, confused, hungry, and lonely. He's friendly, but may be hard to catch. If you find him notify the Utah Hwy Patrol or the Idaho State Police, your local animal shelter, local law enforcement agency, or the contacts listed here: Email Deb - or phone: 360-636-1824 or email Lynn or phone: 208-578-1123.
APRIL 9TH The following information has been sent out about Neo. He is a Siberian Husky about 8-9 years old with one blue eye and the other is "parti-colored" - mostly brown with a little blue coloring. He is altered, and was wearing a halter with tags.
"Neo was in a car accident on 4-4-09 where his beautiful person “Joyce Moore” was killed.
Neo stayed with Joyce until medical people arrived and then he took off. He has been sighted several times. He appeared to be headed northwest which is the direction of his home. The accident was in Snowville, Utah and home is Kelso, Washington. So he could be in route anywhere from Utah.
If Neo comes to your organization, even if a few months down the line, he is very much wanted by Joyce’s sister Deb Moore who can be reached at 360-636-1824. If somehow he makes it to the SF Bay Area, you can also call Barb Teasdale at 415-563-3641.
Neo may be hard to ‘get’. He was totally Joyce’s partner in life and is most assuredly confused and scared. He knows Joyce passed on and so far is refusing to respond to people attempting to help him.
The family would be most grateful if Neo comes to you, even if it’s months/years down the line and very much would appreciate any help in recovering and reuniting with him."
You can check this web site for updates and there is a map showing where the accident happened and the two towns of Snowville, UT. and Stone, ID. where Neo has been last sighted.
