Paddington

Paddington is a male senior dog who weighs 22#'s and approximately 10-12 years young. He is friendly, loyal and affectionate (likes to be petted and told what a good boy he is but he is NOT a cuddle bug), gentle dog who is protective of his loved ones. He is an independent little chap who is quiet and well-behaved, but also knows how to have fun and be playful. His smart and loyal nature makes him a great companion. He was a very good boy, and we are sad to see him leave, but he is now ready to find a new forever home where he can receive the love and care he deserves. He is good with other dogs, (big and small and cats too) and he is sure to make the perfect furry companion for you and your family. Due to his age, he is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can retire in peace and comfort. He would prefer a home without small children, as he is not used to being around them. Paddington had his ACTH stimulation test performed this week, and his results came back negative! He also had his dental appointment and he's ready to find his family! He’s such a sweet boy and we wanted to show all his fur-fabulous looks over the past several months, he hung out behind the front desk with all the kind ladies at our primary vet while having his all-day Cushing’s Testing (ACTH). Everyone said he was so sweet and really enjoyed all the extra hands offering pats and treats. Paddington is on daily thyroid medication (2x per day) and takes them easily in his food. He does have some senior related lumps (benign growths) his vision is limited due to years of neglect, but he does just fine (you just have to go a little slower with letting him know you are about to pet him, so as not to startle him). He’s also learned how to be a pawsome good canine citizen while being groomed. He loves daily walks and really loves car rides too! He puts himself to sleep at night and is so happy when morning arrives so he can hop up and down and go outside! To say we will miss him is an understatement, we know he has so much love to give, and he deserves a really special family.
