Palmer was rescued from a puppy mill situation. When he arrived at Canine Shelter his foster mom, Sarella, had to teach him to eat moist kibbles. He was so afraid that he would shiver and try to hide in a huddled with his brothers and sister in the back of their warm crate in the family room with Katey the Bernese Mountain Dog close by to make sure they were safe. Palmer has learned to trust "Amma", his foster mom, because she brought food, water, love and comfort so all is well. Palmer loves to play with toys and are becoming more bold to come get loved on. Palmer is also also learning it is fun to play outside in the warm sunshine with dirt and grass under his feet!
Palmer is just precious and he is looking for his very own family to love. Palmer will only be adopted as inside family member.
UPDATE: 2/14/08
The Palmer has been altered. He developed a hernia yesterday. The repaired surgery was done today and he was neutered. Now that surgery has been done to repair the hernia, he will be fine healthy puppy who should not have any residual effects.
