Parker

Not one person interested in Parker in three years. Parker knows very little about the world around him. He needs a quiet and patient individual or family willing to take on a dog who has very little experience with being loved and anyone willing to give him a chance. His time with people is usually one-on-one and at bedtime, when he quickly settles and goes to sleep. He likes to be engaged and involved. We have tried Parker with a variety of dog groups and he quickly becomes overstimulated. But one-on-one, he is a dream. Like other things in his life, we feel he would do well with a routine and slow introduction. He is a buddy dog in that he is really craving a human: A human who can focus on him and introduce him to the world in a gradual way. He is very smart and very affectionate. Are you Parker's buddy? Applicants must have a secure visible fence connected to an exit door of the house. Applicants will be screened, including a home visit.
