Meet Penelope, a 1-year-old mixed breed pup ready for foster-to-adopt! She's healing from FHO surgery funded by @friendsofmcaw. According to her foster, Penelope is a sweet, active dog. She might make a great family pet! Penelope is sometimes calm in her crate, but can also be an escape artist. Outside the crate, she is playful yet occasionally mischievous. She is a great passenger in the car and is improving with housebreaking, especially when on a schedule. On a leash, she tends to pull and can be reactive and flighty. Penelope enjoys soft, squeaky toys and is occasionally mouthy and jumpy. She shows interest in chickens but is not fixated on them. Her barking is mostly alert-type. Interested in Penelope?
