Pepper showed up out of the blue at a farm about 4 miles south of town. She was wearing a collar and looked well kept. The lady out there kept her for three days and put her out on KGRN's Doggone program and took her around to vets to see if anyone knew where she came from. They didn't. So, she is now with PALS looking for her new forever home.

She is a sweetie! She did really well out at the first home with the house training and she has done well at my house also. She whines and cries and paces when she needs to go outside. I found a spay scar so that I believe has been done but she will go to the vet for the vet to check and update her on shots. She is very, very calm for a terrier. She does fine with the cats now she has gotten used to them and she has been very receptive to all of the new dogs she has met. She gets a little anxious at being left home by herself and will cry when you leave. There isn't really any destructive behavior but it makes you think it isn't something she is used to. But, it might just be all of the changes that she has gone thru that she doesn't want to see you leave.

She is a talker and she scolded me this morning because I had put her and my pomeranian out on the deck this morning while I took my shower. When I let them back in she expressed her extreme displeasure with me, vocally, in kind of a yodel. I had to laugh, she is a funny girl. She was so tired yesterday when we were taking her pictures for her petfinder site, she went to turn around to go through a door and ran right into it! I had to struggle not to laugh at her poor little girl! She loves to go for rides in the car, that is her favorite thing ever. She enjoys treats but doesn't seem to know any tricks like sit. She doesn't beg during meals but does enjoy her little bit of people food.

She is the nicest little dog ever and walks very nicely on the leash, no pulling or being rude at all!. She would be the perfect dog for a retired person or couple. She loves to snuggle and be either on the floor by your chair or snuggled next to you. She sleeps right next to me at night. The lady that had her first out in the country said they would go into bed around 9:30 at night at she would sleep right at the foot of her bed and not move until 8 or 8:30 the next morning when she got up.

Someone will be very, very lucky to get this precious girl. Oh, I am guessing her to be between 3-5 years old but the vet will be able to be more accurate hopefully.

Pepper's adoption donation is $125 which includes her spay, deworming, and shots. For an indoor home only, please call or e-mail the PALS contact information located to the right to find out more about making this sweetheart a part of your family!
