Meet Pesto!!
This gorgeous boy was rescued as a stray a couple years ago and moved to MA to be adopted. Unfortunately, once a baby joined the family, Pesto needed a new place to go. So he hit the road and is now back in his home town of Houston.
He's a friendly guy who loves treats and getting attention. He wakes up with his big smile everyday. He's currently in boarding, so he's working on his leash skills while there. He's really excited at the beginning of his walking adventure and may pull some, but settles in nicely.
Pesto is listed at about 3.5 years but we think he could be a bit older. He weighs about 55lbs. Pesto does have longer hair so that requires a bit of beauty maintenance.
We think Pesto would be best in an adult only home. He tends to get mats on his tail if not properly cared for, and this makes his rear end very sensitive. He can get upset if you try to touch him there when he has a mat.
