Puddin! Sweet, Petite Girl!

Meet our very sweet and petite girl named Puddin! Puddin is about 1 year old, and she came to our shelter after she was found roaming on the side of the turnpike. She is a very friendly puppy who absolutely loves getting attention from people! When Puddin is outside of her kennel in our backyard, she is a silly girl who likes to play with toys. She is not overly energetic and likes to lounge in the sun chewing on a toy. She is food motivated and already knows how to sit and give paw. Puddin gets uncomfortable around other dogs, so we are looking for a home where she can be your only dog. She has tested well with cats. Puddin can go to a home with children 10 years old and older who have dog experience. Puddin will need to be walked on a harness that does not pull on her throat. For some reason when collars pull directly against her throat, it causes her to gag. Otherwise she is a happy girl who likes to be with people! There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
