Courtesy Posting: CORONA, CA, So Cal “PUMA” – NO ID YET– at CITY OF CORONA ANIMAL SERVICES, FOUND ROAMING W/ MALE & FEMALE FRIEND, MAY BE ADOPTED SEPARATELY, OR TOGETHER. BEAUTIFUL, YOUNGER LOOKING PUREBRED CREAM CHOW GIRL, WAS JUST CAUGHT & IS FEELING VERY SCARED IN THE KENNEL, RESCUE ONLY AT THIS TIME. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE, SHELTER IS SMALL AND FULL. We were contacted by a good Samaritan about 3 roaming purebred looking chows, all 3 of which have now been caught and brought to the Corona shelter. We are told for now two of these dogs (Missy and Bruno/aka Brutus) are friendly and have a known owner who never came to reclaim them. The third pup, a purebred looking cream chow girl named “Puma” was just caught and is feeling very scared in the kennel, thus she is Rescue Only for now. We suspect they may have been used to breed, but the shelter will see they are spayed and neutered in the future. Missy & Bruno may be adopted separately (or together if you prefer), and are expected to be available on 7/2 when their stray/chip hold expires. As mentioned above, Puma (for now) is Rescue Only). We had someone sent us a nice video showing Missy and Bruno are sweet. We do not have much information from the shelter yet regarding the third chow “Puma”. Information will be added to this post upon receipt. We are looking for a chow savvy foster and rescue to save Puma.
