Roscoe is a tri-colored basset-beagle mix. He originally came to BHRG in 2000 and was adopted. His family has had a major lifestyle change and can no longer give their three bassets (Roscoe, Maxine, and Snoopy) the attention they need. Roscoe is housetrained and uses a dog door. He enjoys leash walks and will do anything for a treat of Nilla Vanilla wafers or a potato chip. Roscoe loves to give kisses and have his sides petted - rub your hands long enough on his coat to get warm fur. He gets along with everyone - including small kids. He is 8 years old and is up-to-date on shots and heartworm prevention. His paws sometimes get irritated due to allergies, but he is otherwise healthy weighing in at 48 lbs. He recently had his teeth cleaned too!
