This winsome and very beautiful puppy is Rosie. She has managed to capture the heart of every person she has ever met, and it is absolutely accurate to say that Rosie's entire being just bursts with love and expectancy.
The consummate Heinz 57 pup, Rosie is happy to be whatever you see in her. Certainly she is a girl who can live up to the claim that "mutts make the very best dogs." She is keenly intelligent, touchingly earnest, and filled with trust. She loves people with ardor and purpose, and she strives to learn and please with all her might.
Of course, Rosie is a puppy, and her depths of heart and intelligence are also pinioned in the joyful pursuits and pleasure of a baby. While she is dedicatedly housetrained, and quick to come on command, and even to sit, she can only remain in a "stay" for seconds before her enthusiasm to be petted and held overcomes her.
Rosie loves other dogs and is carefully restrained around cats; she seemed to recognize early on that she might grow into a large dog, and she has worked hard to master her leggy limbs and impressive paws. But Rose is overjoyed that her foster mom still permits her to fold up in her lap and be snuggled.
Loving all dogs as we do, there is still something about a dog like Rosie, whose rural origins and unknown breeding cause special delight. She is and will always be a one of kind, a kiss of nature, and as she grows and unfolds, Rosie is an ongoing surprise. She is wonderfully expressive, and her eyes and the direct, adoring gaze she offers, hold a wealth of possibility, fidelity, and trust. She will be a joy for her adopter(s).
