Sammy Kimoya where do we even begin? There is something so special, strong and mystical about stoic dogs like this guy right here. They just seem so smart and pensive. We wish we could know what he was thinking, but we'll have to settle for just being with him in silence. And being with him in silence is such a joy let me tell you. Sammy Kimoya was saved from NYCACC after coming into the Brooklyn shelter lethargic, vomiting and having blood diarrhea. He was rushed to the emergency hospital where he stayed for weeks, fighting for his life from a severe case of parvo. Thank god he recovered but sadly, years later, he is still without a home. For a short time he lived with young children (about 9-10 years old) and cats whom he seemed to like. He is a very sweet, calm, intelligent and sensitive boy who is slightly nervous upon meeting new friends, but warms up and trusts soon after. He knows sit, takes treats gently and although has a lot against him - older, black pitties never have it easy - he deserves a forever home just like everyone else.
