Sara-Adopted!

.Sara is adopted and will be living in Rapid City!!!

Update: We changed Spots name to Sara, much more fitting of her sweet personality! We cannot say enough good things about Sara. She tries so hard to please, and just wants someone to love her and spend time with her. Sara is afraid of men intially but will warm up with time. Email us today for an application!

Sara recently arrived in rescue. She was surrendered by a nearby puppy mill. Sara is about 5 years old, 33 pounds. Sara is learning that life is good out of the puppy mill! She is now spayed, has clean teeth, groomed and feeling great! Spot is a little hesitant at times but quickly overcoming that. When approached, her little docked tail wags a million miles an hour! Sara gets along with other dogs and cats . Sara is almost housetrained and will do anything to please! Sara will make a great companion!

Sara is spayed, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $150. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
