Sarah is an 8 year old shepherd mix girl with a good deal of spunk left in her.  She was an owner turn in and seems to greatly prefer to be an inside dog.  She does clearly understand the need to go out and appears to be housetrained as long as she can take a moment before bedtime.  Doesn’t chew or jump on you,  is oblivious to the pool and doesn’t dig holes in the yard although she will find a hole in a fence if there is one.  If not, she is just fine !

She does very well with other dogs, cats (ignores them) and kids.  She is very patient and is not at all aggressive. She does know sit, down and “paw” with a little bit of urging and we are working on that more each day. Sarah is great on a leash and doesn’t pull or tug at all.   Her teeth are a little worn down likely from rock chewing but this doesn’t slow her down a bit.    She is VERY sweet and would make a great only dog or part of the pack.  She is extremely flexible with her living situation.  Even at PACC she was calm and just waiting for someone to see her and bring her to her forever home. Sarah is very patient and loves to be rubbed once she gets to know you.   She’d love to be part of your family !
