Scooby

Scooby (no relation to Scooby-Doo) is a young, energetic 4-year-old boy in his prime. He will greet you with vigorous tail wags of delight aimed at procuring affection, treats, and a walk. Without fail, this handsome chocolate hunk achieves all three. I watch proudly as he sits like a prince for treats and doesn’t grab them. Each walk reminds me of his strength on leash and need for a strong handler. Scooby seeks active adopters to manage his strength and energy level. Consistent training to curb his jumping tendency to give standing hugs is a work in progress, so for now a home without young kids is best. Our adoption fee is $75, and goes right back into the organization. All dogs are neutered/spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. To set your pup up for success, all pets should be given time to decompress before introductions to friends, extended family, and other animals. We are based in Reidsville, NC but will adopt animals out-of-state. If out of state, we will do our best to arranged transport to meet you somewhere midway, depending on how far away you are.
