Meet Scooter! What a doll. He is all bark and no bite although he would protect you with his life. When you go inside his kennel, he forgot he ever barked at you. That is who you want on the other side of your front door LADIES!! He's ready to go boot scoot'n with you! This guy is so sweet, and gentle, and wants to be a lap dog! He walks great on a leash and know sit, especially for a treat. He even likes to ride in the car! Scooter has a wish list for his new companions. He would like a nice backyard to run around and play in, a family to belong to, walks into the sunset, and plenty of tasty treats. He is a senior dog at 10 years old, but shows no signs of slowing down. Scooter is more mature and willing to listen because he's been out in the world; he understands how things work and doesn't have to be taught. He could use training to fine-tune some behaviors, but much of that will improve when he gets into a stable home life. Scooter has a lot of life left in him and he wants a chance to explore his possibilities with you. He does well on a leash and gets along with his fellow canines and children. He'd prefer a home without cats, though. Scooter weighs in at about 80 pounds, is housebroken, HW negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. He's also neutered and got over all that long ago.
