Beautiful Shelby is looking for her forever home!! This amazing girl was adopted from us several years ago and returned a few months ago. Unfortunately, she came back to us with cancer and we’ve done all we can to remove as much of it as possible— even trying chemo. Our vet isn’t sure how long Shelby may have but he hopes our efforts have bought her a few golden years! Enough of the sad stuff though, let’s talk about how amazing Shelby is! If you are looking for a low key companion, she’s your girl. Her favorite place to be is by your side! She’s happy to spend your workday together, napping on a soft dog bed, listening to you work. Her favorite time of day is after dinner snuggle time, it may take her a minute to get comfortable, she might wiggle or squirm a bit, but the sound of your heartbeat will have her asleep in no time. Shelby has grown to love her crate, and views it as a safe space as long as it’s in a spot near her people. She is potty trained, too! She battles some separation anxiety, but the company of a fur friend definitely helps calm her. Shelby is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
