Shrek and Fiona arrived at the shelter as a pair. They were stray and amazingly never claimed. It looks like these two were likely a breeding pair and Fiona definitely had a few litters. We're so glad that they are now both altered! They both have sweet and gentle natures and have become staff favorites!
Both dogs are very gentle and well behaved. They have some knowledge of basic commands and are good listeners. They are bonded to each other and love to spend time together. We would love to see them go to a home together. A home with breed experience would also be preferred. Mastiffs can have joint and hip problems later in life and any potential owners will need to plan for their medical future.
We have not assessed Fiona and Shrek with any other dogs at this time. Both are still recovering from their spay/neuter surgery and are taking it easy. Please do some research into the breed to make sure Fiona and Shrek are the dogs for you!
All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters
Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions.
