Sugar in Arkansas

Meet Sugar. She got her name from her foster mother who says she is sweet as sugar.
She just loves people and wants nothing more than to have a good home with a good family.
Sugar is a 3 year old Anatolian Shephard mix and adores children and women.
She is not bothered by men but goes out of her way to meet women and children when she is out and about.

Sugar was tied to a tree and left after her home was raided by the police for operating a crystal meth lab, which, sadly is not uncommon in rural Arkansas.
Fortunately Sugar was outside and away from the toxic chemicals so she has not suffered any consequences of what her owners were up to.
Some how no one seemed to notice Sugar tied to that tree in back of the house. After everything was said and done, there was Sugar left tied to that tree. No food, no water and no shelter.
Sugar weighs about 70 pounds but should weigh about 80-85 pounds. She is gaining weight now that she is getting regular meals. Fortunately Sugar was found by a caring individual and taken to the vet. Sugar had never had her nails trimmed so one of them had grown around into her pad on her declaw.
Sugar doesnt ask for much, just regular food, water and loving. She is a low maintenance girl who likes to hang out with her family.
She has been completely vetted and her adoption fee of $75 covers her spay, rabies, micro-chipping, vaccinations, fecal and worming, heartworm check and preventative.

Sugar would be happiest as an only dog. She learns to get along with other dogs who do not challenge her, but she is fairly dog aggressive.
