Hi, my name is Sunshine but my foster mom (and our friends) call me Sunny D cause I'm sooooooooo sweet AND I’m a total house dog! I was scheduled for euthanasia at a local shelter when my foster mother found me, she says she fell in love with my smile and gentle manners. (Oh my, that was very close!) She tells everyone that I’m always happy, smiling and full of life ~ makes me feel good to be so appreciated! Calm and quiet indoors, I’m extremely gentle with children but always up for a long walk with my human(s). I love to lie quietly at your feet indoors while watching a movie or reading a book, go for car rides or just about anything that would make you happy so that we can spend time together. I especially love children of all ages and am always and forever ready for a good belly rug from anyone who’ll take the time to give me one ~ that’s my favorite thing on earth! I live in an indoor multi-dog foster home so I’m completely house, crate, car and leash trained and have learned to sit nicely on command for food and treats. I’m a very sweet, gentle soul who is willing to do anything to please my people ~ a perfect family pet who would love to have her very own human family again!

Vital stats:
Sunny D is a darling 4 year old, full grown 60 lb. female American Staffordshire Terrier who is spayed, up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro-chipped. Her $150 adoption fee includes her spay, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccine series, Heartgard and Frontline preventatives, microchip and advanced behavior training.
