We received an urgent message that puppies had been thrown out on a mountain road in the middle of a thunderstorm. It was the next valley over and we knew that we were their best chance at survival. At 4am, Bonnie drove the back mountain road and with a flashlight she crawled down the bank and into the jungle where we were told they were last seen. Bonnie found them hiding in an old tire at the base of a huge Mango tree. She caught two and the third went running towards the cliff with the river below. As the baby got caught tangled in the vines, Bonnie was able to crawl on her belly and with one outstretched arm she grabbed the puppy with all her might. Saved in the nick of time just as the sun began to rise. Happy, playful, lab mixes, it's time to complete their journey home.
Our cute little dock tailed Taffy is fully vetted and sterilized, Her fee is $450 which includes transportation off the island to one of our stateside support teams. Due to COVID, we are sadly not able to conduct private adoptions on the island.
