Words can't begin to describe this great dog! He was found as a stray, but it is very obvious that someone spent some time with him, because he knows how to sit, give paw, and seems to have basic obedience training. At three years old, this gorgeous boy has so much love to give! He seems to be mostly shepherd, with a smidge of something else we can't figure out (a bit of Australian Cattle dog or Dalmation perhaps)? He is great with his foster family's dogs, and plays very well with older children (he is a total love bug, but might knock smaller children over with his exuberant play). He is very affectionate and social and certainly has lots of "puppy" left in him! He would love someone that could take him on long walks or play ball with him in a large yard. He is very energetic (but not at all hyper) and he LOVES to chase after anything you throw for him. He is shiny black with a white chest, one spotted white paw (his left front), and amber brown eyes. He was the "shelter favorite", and his foster family can see why - he is just incredible!
TJ is up to date on all his shots, neutered, housetrained and microchipped.
UPDATE: After less than one week in his foster home, here comes an update:
"TJ is the most awesome dog in the world!! If I had a bigger house I would keep him in a second. He is the nicest dog, 100% housebroken, and very funny. He has these long front legs (like a colt) and when you tell him to “gimme paw” he nearly knocks you over swinging his leg at you. My husband REALLY likes him, too, and of course my son adores him (he sleeps on the floor next to his bed). "
