Hi my name is William, I am one of the 7 pups that was rescued with mom
Naria. If you have been watching our progress you have heard that I sleep
very soundly. So soundly that it had cause concern for my foster mom. She
decided to see how well I could hear her. She tried the usual things like
cans filled with change, banging lids together and yelling and claping hands
together, as it scattered my brothers and sisters making them run for the
hills, I didn't really move. This is not a true test and the vets we work
with say that some of the development doesn't take place until 12 weeks, it
seems as though I can't hear, or I have real good control at having
selective hearing. There is a gene that causes deafness. As you can see in
my cute picture I have quite a bit of white in my coat this is something
that has been known to cause deafness, the lack of pigments in the skin and
coat. I am a very sweet boy and my foster mom is working with me and getting
information to pass on. I love to cuddle with my foster mom and she lays and
spoils me. I would love to meet you and give many kisses.
