Wooly Bears 1&2

Wooly Bears 1&2 are 8 weeks old female Great Pyrenees mixs. Roly, poly, chubby, full of fun and smart. They are almost all Pyrenees but the mom is small for a pure breed Pyrenees (60 lbs.) They will be large-sized adults but not super large. Adorable! Medium to low energy. Mellow sweet. These puppies are great family dogs and great for children because of their mellow dispositions and larger size. A common myth about larger dogs is that they require more work than smaller dogs. Actually because of their low to moderate energy levels they require less. They aren't constantly asking for your attention and move far more slowly on walks. Also because of their lower energy levels they require much less food than their size would suggest. Their DOB was 6/27/10 and they will be available for adoption on Saturday 8/21/10 at our weekly adoption fair at 7680 N. Academy PetSmart in Colorado Springs. With regard to Wooly Bear on your left, with the tan spot over the right eye, that eye has a somewhat clouded cornea. Our veterinarian said it may or may not improve. She functions great with cloudy sight in that eye. The Great Pyrenees is a very devoted and protective breed. An obedient dog, the Great Pyrenees is gentle and affectionate, but also relatively serious. The Great Pyrenees is a loveable large breed that reminds many of a teddy bear. The Great Pyrenees is very loyal but wary of unfamiliar people or animals. Well mannered and affectionate, this breed does do well for a companion animal. Gentle, obedient and eager to please, this breed does exceptionally well as a guardian of livestock. Commonly used for sheep and cattle. Good with other animals, and does surprisingly well with cats.
